1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of the Matched Betting Profit Tracker application (also shown as "MB Profit Tracker") and its associated account and sync services (the "Service"). "We", "us" and "our" mean Nepherius; "you" means the person using the Service. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

2. What the Service Is, and Is Not

The Service is a personal record-keeping tool. It lets you log bets, track bookmaker and exchange balances, calculate returns from figures you enter, and view your profit over time.

The Service is not:

a bookmaker, betting exchange or gambling service. You cannot place bets, deposit or withdraw money through it;
connected to your bookmaker or exchange accounts. It does not read or verify your real balances or bets;
a source of betting tips, odds-matching, offers or financial, tax or legal advice;
a guarantee that matched betting is profitable or free of risk.

3. Eligibility and Your Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to gamble legally where you live, to use the Service. You are responsible for:

making sure gambling and matched betting are lawful for you;
complying with the terms of every bookmaker and exchange you use. Bookmakers may restrict accounts or withhold promotions, and we have no influence over that;
any tax or reporting obligations that apply to you;
checking your real balances and bet settlements with the bookmaker or exchange itself.

4. Responsible Gambling

Matched betting still involves real money and real betting accounts, and mistakes such as wrong stakes, missed lays or odds changes can cause losses. Only use money you can afford to lose.

If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, free and confidential help is available. In the UK, contact the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 or visit GamCare or BeGambleAware. You can also block gambling sites with GAMSTOP.

5. Accuracy of Figures and Calculations

All figures shown in the App come from what you enter. Calculated returns are estimates based on the odds, stakes and commission rates you provide, and may differ from the amounts a bookmaker or exchange actually settles because of rounding, rule differences, voids, partial matches or changes in commission.

Do not rely on the App as your only record of bets or funds, and always confirm a bet before placing it. Totals are for your personal information only and are not an official statement.

6. Your Account

You need an account to use the Service. You can sign in with email and password or with Google. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at help@nepherius.dev if you think someone else has accessed it.

The records you enter belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and display them only so we can provide the Service to you. You can reset or delete your data at any time from Settings > Reset; see the instructions page. Reset and deletion are immediate and cannot be undone.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or money laundering;
try to access other users' data or our backend systems without permission;
interfere with, overload or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows this;
tamper with ads, subscriptions or purchase validation;
use automated tools to create accounts or submit data.

8. Advertising and the Remove Ads Subscription

Free Version

The App is free to use and supported by ads from Google AdMob, including a banner and occasional full-screen ads after you log a number of bets. Ads come from third parties and we do not endorse what they advertise. Some may be for gambling products. Use your own judgement and our responsible-gambling guidance above.

Subscription

An optional "Remove Ads" monthly subscription removes advertising. It does not unlock any other features. The price is shown in the App and in Google Play before you buy, and may vary by country.

Payment is taken by Google Play. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions; ads will return at the end of the current billing period. Uninstalling the App or deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.

Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and linked to your account, so you can restore them by signing in to the same account. If we significantly change the price, Google Play will notify you before the new price applies.

Tips

The Settings screen links to an optional Ko-fi page. Tips are voluntary gifts, handled by Ko-fi under its own terms, and do not unlock any features.

9. Our Rights in the App

The App, its design, code and branding belong to Nepherius or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes in line with these terms and Google Play's terms. Bookmaker and exchange names appear in the App only to identify them; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Availability, Changes and Ending Access

We aim to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or remove features, or stop offering the Service. If we plan to shut down the Service, we will try to give reasonable notice so you can make a copy of your records.

We may suspend or close an account if it seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, is used unlawfully, or puts the Service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we close your account without good reason, we will refund any unused subscription period.

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the App.

11. Responsibility and Limits of Liability

The Service is provided for personal use. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for:

betting losses, missed winnings, restricted bookmaker accounts or lost promotions;
decisions you make based on figures or calculations in the App;
errors in data you entered;
losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at third-party providers;
business losses, since the Service is for personal use.

Where the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the Service or the law changes. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, for significant changes, give notice in the App or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree to the new terms, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.

13. Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not take away mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live. You may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
